Getting to know GHS Volleyball Coaching Staff
Kelbey Fisher will begin his fourth year as Grantsville High
School Head Coach. Previously he was an assistant at Snow College for two
years, high school official for one year, and high school manager for five
years. Coach Fisher also participated in football, basketball, and baseball. He
attended Altamont High before graduating from GHS in 2011, and then served an
LDS Mission in Tacoma Washington. After returning, he attended Snow College and
Southern Utah University. He graduated from SUU with his Bachelor of Science in
Accountancy and was hired on to a full-time position in Salt Lake City, but thanks to COVID now has a remote position. He
married Nicole Christensen of Oak City, Utah on June 9, 2017 and they have two girls, Emersyn and RaeLynn. Coach Fisher enjoys time
with his family and being active in sports and community events. His coaching
philosophy revolves around the saying “Life isn’t about sports, but sports are
about life” and looks forward to making a difference in many lives. #GoCowboys
Kylie Mutcher will begin her fourth year as Grantsville High School Assistant Coach. Previously she assisted the basketball teams at Grantsville and Tooele High. She graduated from GHS in 2008 where she also volleyball all four years, as well as participating in basketball. Coach M went on to play volleyball at Eastern Wyoming College. She is married to Calvin Mutcher and they have two daughters, Taytum and Rowan. Coach M enjoys spending time with her family, golfing, playing volleyball, and working as a hospice nurse.
Cameron Smith will begin his first year as Grantsville High School Assistant Coach. Previously he managed the Snow College volleyball team for two years and the Grantsville High School volleyball team for four years. Coach Smith graduated from GHS in 2018, where he also managed the basketball team for four years and softball team for two years. He played club volleyball at Club V for two years. Coach Smith completed his Associate's Degree while attending Snow College. He enjoys spending time with his family, playing volleyball, and being outside.
Amy Tichenor will begin her first season as Grantsville High School Assistant Coach. Previously she assisted the volleyball team as a volunteer coach. Amy graduated from GHS in 2013 where she participated in volleyball, basketball, and softball all four years. After graduating, she pursued a path that led her to marrying the man of her dreams, Tanner Tichenor. They have two sons, River and one on the way. Coach Amy is now a Makeup Artist, and self taught seamstress. She enjoys short walks on the beach, playing slow pitch softball, spending quality time with family and friends, and eating s’mores. One thing she aspires to always be is a good example and someone the girls can always look up to!
Suzanne Fisher will begin her first season as Grantsville High School Volunteer Coach. Previously she assisted the volleyball team as the Sophomore coach. Coach Suzanne graduated from Duchesne High School where she participated in volleyball, basketball, cheer, and FFA. She is married to Kurt Fisher and they have four amazing boys, three wonderful daughter-in-laws, and eight beautiful grandkids. Coach Suzanne moved to Grantsville where all four boys graduated and participated in sports at GHS. She currently works for the Tooele County School District as the Special Ed Medicaid Coordinator/Secretary, but was previously the GHS Attendance Secretary. She loves spoiling her grandkids, spending time with family, crafts, and supporting Grantsville Cowboys!
